From time to time we have concluded an Album with a favorite hymn and the response from our listeners has been very gratifying. Therefore due to the many requests that we have received for a complete album of hymns we have recorded these twelve numbers. Four of them are taken from our previous albums, the other eight we have not recorded before. We hope you like them.

Editor's note: Oh, Mom & Dads...you didn't have to. No, really...you...didn't...have...to. But seeing as you did we'll groove to your jazzy ragtime ensemble even if not in the presence, image and name of The Lord. I was surprised that there were no vocals but sometimes the music -- just as the cheese did -- stands alone.

I grew up listening to the Mom and Dads, first hearing them via an 8 track tape at friends of my parents. I've loved them ever since!
I play the same style of music, but on fiddle, but I always wanted to learn to play sax like their saxophonist, Quentin Ratliff. Thanks so much for bring back so many memories. It's also just plain good old music!
