Editor's note: found this acetate along with another in an album at a thrift store. The connection between all three recordings(another side is blank) seems to be the Donn (that's how it's spelled on the records) Preston fella and Charlie or Bill Baer, with one of the latter two featured on all three. Joe Fava sits in on guitar on two of them as well. Fava was a reknowned Detroit guitarist/teacher/educator who produced many prominent protogees -- including Kenny Burell and Earl Klugh among others -- and even published guitar playing manuals. A nice find despite the sound quality of these things!
