Editor's note: I don't often come across "indie funk" at thrift stores so I picked this one up along with a TRIBES OF KROM EP(never heard of them either) despite the marks and scratches on the discs. Plus the album has a good space-age look to it along with an interesting band name. Can't beat that. Needless to say, I knew they weren't going to be the next Meat Loaf. They are what they are... whatever that is. The indie funk label being pasted to these guys on the internet doesn't quite fit so accurately. They are more an alternative rock setup with various and seemingly unending influences and inspirations. Isn't that all music though? Sure, sure. College radio on a piece of wax. Listen up.
I came across this record on a few blogs and managed to track down some audio from WFMU's site. I would love to hear more from this honky-tonkin' caterwaulin' queen. Listen to the tracks below and I think you will too!
