Editor's note: this very pretty lady gives off a strange vibe of being Janis Joplin, Grace Slick, any backup R&B singer from the 60s, Joan Baez and Carol Channing all put into a musical blender and spun out in a vinyl weave. The inspiration from the mystical 16th century Indian singer is lost on me. Apparently it wasn't on her though as she is highly-caffeinated in whatever it is that she was doing here. I'm actually surprised that she is as obscure as she is because this ain't too bad! She has a nice nose too. Oh yeah, Stairway to Heaven is an original and not a Zeppelin re-hash, unfortunately.

At the time of this album, Mirabai was in a New Age spiritual group with strong connections to Sai Baba (India), and that is the connection. Thanks for posting this; I haven't heard it in 40 years!

I haven't heard this album in decades. I used to own it, then someone nicked it. I haven't been able to find it since. More interesting than I remembered it being. Not great but nice.
