Editor's note: the minimalist DIY sleeve was later jazzed up when Capitol re-released the album as the band outgrew the local scene. Apparently, there wasn't much fanfare for this sturdy southern rock folksy album(that sometimes ventures into prog-rockland) outside of the band's home base in Tucson, AZ as the band dissolved after this record but a copy has managed to make it here to a Michigan thrift store and I'm glad for it even if you aren't. Nothing spectacular here but a quality recording just the same. For a more complete sketch of the band go here.

Actually, there were two Meighan Band albums released by Capitol - one a re-release of The Dancer and the second recorded in Los Angeles, titled Me-hun.
