Editor's note: a swingin' singin' jukebox of big band music given a modern jazz touch. Recorded at Webster Hall in NYC it has a big bright sound, the acoustics seem perfectly tuned and the sound doesn't come across as canned at all. Four tracks are Sid Bass penned tunes (or so says the credit) and they fit in perfectly with a few other recognizable classics and the others which I haven't heard.
I came across this record on a few blogs and managed to track down some audio from WFMU's site. I would love to hear more from this honky-tonkin' caterwaulin' queen. Listen to the tracks below and I think you will too!
