Editor's note: Don Lonie was a genius. He started the kids off with a 5 minute joke session and then went into his serious talk. After that he interjects a few lines of humor into the continuing dialogue while maintaining the message. All the while he remained confident that he was hip being square.

I grew up listening to this LP. We had a family dinner tonight and pulled it out and listened to the whole thing. It's been 30 years since I'd listened to it, and I still knew the whole thing by heart. Imagine having that guy at a lyceum today! He was absolutely wonderful and his messages stuck with me throughout my life. And I'll never forget..."I pressed a kiss to her lips. What could I do but linger? And as I ran my fingers through her hair, a cootie bit my finger!"
