Editor's note: truly some hot soul wax by a Detroit-based white boy outfit. For some reason these guys only had moderate success on a few songs despite their very soulful style. Maybe it was a little too over the top as "Shades of Green" is pretty damn heavy. Not as heavy as Marvin Gaye's "What's Goin' On" but then again they weren't Marvin Gaye now were they.
