Editor's note: from the album depictions it's quite easy to surmise that this is a quirky record. That it is. Bordering on both a children's album (say mid-teens or so) and a "let's have fun" record it is indeed a little of both. Maybe it's just me but for some reason a few of these songs remind me of Terry Jacks ("Seasons in the Sun"). Not knowing much about the Irish Rovers, of which Millar was once the band leader, you can see why they had much success with the professionalism and natural sound of each song. Now I'm sounding like a record reviewer. Watch out for the g.d. mf'ing reprises at the end of each side. I learned the hard way (twice) not to pick up the needle after the record clearly appeared to be over.
