Editor's note: I don't know if this is the complete presentation but it's all I have so using my power of Gawd I say it's over. Not exactly an original or inspiring talk by the good Rabbi but the spots of choral singing are pretty nice. The message of "this is an age of despair" seems to never get old and is re-used by every generation to make them believe that life used to be a good old time for all. In reality, all humans are terminally and mentally ill once they reach the concept of death in their mind's vocabulary. The thought of it is maddening to a younger person and many times it's enough to drive them batty and into hedonistic stupidity. Luckily old age zaps most of that spark out and only the truly shameless pursue the wine of youth long after the taste begins to turn a bit stale. Enjoy.
I came across this record on a few blogs and managed to track down some audio from WFMU's site. I would love to hear more from this honky-tonkin' caterwaulin' queen. Listen to the tracks below and I think you will too!
