Editor's note: by most accounts Mr. Hughes was a lady's man and while that's a noble hobby for a poet it doesn't quite mesh with the married life so well. Which is why two of his wives, Sylvia Plath most notably, stuck their heads in the oven and gassed themselves and committed suicide. Proving that she was rationally sane Plath spared her children the death wish she willed upon herself. Assia Wevill was not so kind. She took both her own life as well as her 4 year old daughter she had with Hughes. After these things you can understand such boorish behavior by the poet man but not before. They're all dead now so what's it matter anyway.

After listening to the entire first side of this pompous bastard, I completely understand the urge to go running for the oven. If only mine wasn't electric....

Hughes was a strange guy and supposedly his head was filled with piles of dandruff. I read a bio on him and Sylvia Plath and was mortified by the entire bastard narrative.

These files aren't available anymore. Would anyone be as kind as to post it again? Thanks!
