Editor's note: it's a mystery to me why this record is called what it is but with a pervy looking Santa on the cover I figured that the "O" meant orgasm and that this would be a naughty little record. Nope. It's a jazzy classical instrumental sit by the fireplace kind of record. For what that introduction is worth I like it just fine.

I think the article below explains the "O" sort of.

Editor's note: about what you'd expect from a Nashville made Christmas album: country musicians playing straight-up Xmas songs with little variation or improv. That's not a bad thing especially when it comes to Christmas standards.

Editor's note: I like the record well enough even though the sound is horrendous but I'm sure some of you who like to tinker with the reproduction aspect of sound can fix it on your end. I prefer to keep it as it is for the blog. Yeah, I know, one lump of coal under your music tree so far this year. Cheers!

Editor's note: there's nothing more despised by Michigan football fans than a Buckeye. It's very apropos that a stupid nut is used to represent the most boring football program in the history of college football. More appropriate that the most boring football program perfectly suits one of the most humdrum states in America. Either way and despite Michigan and Ohio State being a heated rivalry, both programs are garbage now playing in a garbage conference, all records aside.  Tomorrow starts the Christmas tunes.

Editor's note: normally I'm not a fan of musicals whatsoever but this is pretty good. Mainly because the songs are from the famous singer Jacques Brel and also due to the fact that singing is very competent and the songs are almost pop tunes rather than showtunes. Nothing's worse than showtunes! This is pretty enjoyable though.

Editor's note: the delivery of the information is sadly lacking and the constant "likes" are kind of embarrassing. That's not to say that her reading is not valid because of this but it sounds pretty unprofessional especially for somebody who was a radio personality. I'm guessing she tried to wing it to keep it genuine but obviously a final polished product needs a script. I still like the record though because it's a local independent effort and that's what I'm all about.

Circle (note)Editor's note: you never know what you're going to find at a thrift store but seeing as this one came with a note to Bob (which is my name; well...the shortened version of Robert) I just assumed that it was waiting for me so I took it. Okay, I lie...I didn't actually find the note until just now but my inner-ear heard it and I picked it up in anticipation of my inner-eye catching up. Seeing as the original Bob and Norma (she was given special thanks) didn't feel the need to present this to the world I shall be the stand-in Bob who rejoices and thus the circle be continued. Pass it on hippies and we'll all live in peace, joy and schadenfroh.

Editor's note: this one came with the wrong sleeve (How To Live With Yourself...Or What To Do Until The Psychiatrist Comes) by the same author. Not that it matters because either way it fooled me into thinking that this was going to be a more serious talk and not a comedy album. Something in line with Don Lonie but it's not to be so instead for your weekly dose of religion you get an earful of bad jokes.

Enjoy because this will be the last Religious non-Christmas album of the year. Yeah, it's that time of the year and will start the day after Thanksgiving (for you non-natives that's next Friday).

Editor's load: I believe that these guys are an Ypsilanti outfit which has been quite successful in their genre. Whether that translates to fame and fortune is beyond my call of judgment. They are very good at what they do but it's not something I would listen to other than for this blog. I might stand and watch a song or two at a festival but despite its richness and quality of sound the music just doesn't do much for me.

Editor's note: I don't know quite when the Electric Organa starts playing on the first side since the titles don't seem to match up but that fucking instrument is bad-ass. It's like an early drum machine with whistles and bells. I don't know why none of the modern music makers haven't gotten a hold of this thing and made an album from it. The rest of the album is okay but the parts where the Organa are featured are sterling.

Editor's note: this guy was the original Dr. Feelgood and lauded by such musical luminaries as Bill Wyman, Keith Richards, Mick Jagger, Eric Clapton, and Paul McCartney. Pete Ham of Badfinger even wrote a song in his honor but to be honest he's just another piano guy to me. He's ood but nothing others haven't done before and won't do again. I will say this for him though: he's the best black albino piano player I've ever heard.

Editor's note: this lady is no Ted Hughes and thank Gawd for that because that smug ass wears on you after a while. Although I laughed at a few points on this record I have to say that she is basically just as good as T. H. but doesn't try to cover it with an intellectual veneer. Maybe she could/couldn't but that doesn't matter because all poetry is emo and though she wasn't as emo as T. H. she also didn't send her life mates running to the oven for earthly release.

Editor's note: despite my love of Nietzsche, Brahms and Wagner there are a few things german which I loathe: namely the language itself and the Hofbrauhaus! I love good beer and in my estimation no good beer is served in a big house with a bunch of drunks! Let drinking be a solitary thing or at worst a social occasion with only close friends. Of course, any smart fellow has few social occasions and even less close friends. As for what this record is all about: sounds like Nazi propaganda that Himmler never got around to. Actually, I have no clue what's being said, sung or played.
