Editor's note: this is a fairly scarce and valuable record. Covering early civil rights activity in Albany, Georgia in 1961 the key message of the "negro" was that as God-fearing Christians they had nothing to lose in peaceful protesting and everything to gain in the department of dignity. The fact that they used non-violence was the key. It belittled the belittlers into dwarf-sized tyrants who were brutalizing passive people who quoted Jesus and Patrick Henry. A far cry from Black Lives Matter and a clear moral superior. You don't deserve this record but that's my own damn fault.
